Love Lifted Me

It happens often.  A song gets stuck in my head and I go to bed hearing it, wake up in the middle of the night hearing it, and think of it first thing in the morning.

No wonder I love scripture songs so much.  They fill my mind with TRUTH and consume my thoughts.  Not a bad thing.

This time I was on a little road trip all by myself and was singing songs one after another until I couldn’t think of another.  Then this one came to mind and, well, I must have sung it 20 times.

This song speaks for itself–and it reminds me of more than just where I was, but that He rescued me and redeemed me!

I’ve got it in my head and can’t get it out, so I thought I would share:

You’re welcome!

“He reached down from heaven and took hold of me; He pulled me out of deep waters.” Psalm 18:16

I, for one, am thankful that the kind of songs I have in my head are full of TRUTH, aren’t you?

I’m just a little excited to be on another road trip today–to pick up my baby boy… wonder what I’ll be “stuck” with this time! :0)

What song has been stuck in your head lately?  I’d love to hear!

Have a great week!

Love lifted me. Love lifted me. When nothing else could help, love lifted me . . . well, now that song is stuck in my head. 🙂

Not long ago, I had an old 80s praise song stuck in my head. Lord I lift your name on high. Lord I love to sing your praises. I’m so glad you’re in my life. I’m so glad you came to save us . . .

Have a blessed afternoon and thank you for filling my heart with song.
