It happens often. A song gets stuck in my head and I go to bed hearing it, wake up in the middle of the night hearing it, and think of it first thing in the morning.
No wonder I love scripture songs so much. They fill my mind with truth and consume my thoughts. Not a bad thing.
This time I was on a little road trip all by myself and was singing songs one after another until I couldn’t think of another. Then this one came to mind and, well, I must have sung it 20 times.
This song speaks for itself–and it reminds me of not only where I was before I knew Him, but that He rescued me and redeemed me!
I’ve got it in my head and can’t get it out, so I thought I would share:
You’re welcome!
“He reached down from heaven and took hold of me; He pulled me out of deep waters.” Psalm 18:16
I am so thankful that the kind of songs I have in my head are full of truth, aren’t you?
What song has been stuck in your head lately? I’d love to hear!

Love lifted me. Love lifted me. When nothing else could help, love lifted me . . . well, now that song is stuck in my head. 🙂
Not long ago, I had an old 80s praise song stuck in my head. Lord I lift your name on high. Lord I love to sing your praises. I’m so glad you’re in my life. I’m so glad you came to save us . . .
Have a blessed afternoon and thank you for filling my heart with song.
