How Can I Know If I Am Going To Heaven When I Die?

To understand what is required of us before God will let us into the heaven He has prepared for us, you will need to look at what He says in the Bible, God’s Holy Word about these four important topics:

Committing your life to follow Jesus is just the beginning of a journey.  God offers forgiveness, heaven, and eternal life:

“I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13

The only way to make this commitment to Him is to talk to Him!  Prayer is our line of communication to Him.  The Bible tells us that He hears us when we pray, and that His desire is for us to have fellowship with Him.  It starts with a prayer of repentance.

Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin.  Thank Him for taking the penalty of your sin on the cross, and confess your faith in Him.  Ask Him to come into your life and to save you. Commit to living your life for Him.  Thank Him for His gift of salvation and eternal life!

Romans 10:9-10 says,

“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.”

and goes on to say in Romans 10:13:

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

It is only the beginning of a new life.  A new way of living.  And the first step in a journey you will never regret taking.

I would love to hear from you if you have made the decision to follow Jesus.  I want to encourage you and answer any questions you might have.  If you email me, I am also willing to send you a brand new Bible for you to begin discovering God’s Word for yourself. I’m praying for you.  Even though I may not know your name or where you are from, I am praying for every person that reads this page.  There is no greater joy than seeing someone beginning this life-changing journey!

With love,

Vickie
