His days are numbered

by The One who counted the years.

Like others before him,

and those who will follow,

his life will matter.

The moments, the memories,

the mistakes.

More than a mere existence,

His life has been marked by days

of choices.

Though he can’t even see it clearly now,

his life, his choices made a difference–

for good and for bad.

Blinded by bitterness and pride,

he sees only darkness.

The blinders blocking out hope.

Blocking out the Truth.

The Light.

The Light of Life, who loves him

and

has

pursued

Him

to

the

very

end.
