Favorite Pins Friday: Christmas Edition

I am excited to share how Pinterest helped me prepare my new home for the Christmas season!  I really try to use what I already have to decorate, and using new/different printables means you are only paying for the price of a piece of paper.

FAVORITE FREE PRINTABLE:  Come Let Us Adore Him

Come Let Us Adore Him

GENIUS IDEA:  Curtain rod to hold stockings!  We have four children (three of them married) and five grandchildren, so the idea of that many stocking holders cluttering up the mantel or nails in the wood were not my preference. By using a curtain rod I only needed four stocking holders to hang the curtain rod on.

CHALKBOARD INSPIRATION:  Rudolf and his friends are a welcome addition to our country home where we see deer in our yard regularly. The chalkboard trend may not last long, but I love that I can use it year-round.

The days have been full and my heart is even more full as I think of that HOLY NIGHT when the Savior came into this world.

Our focus is easily misplaced as we shop and prepare–but don’t forget WHO it’s really all about. HE IS THE GIFT!

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Merry Christmas from my home to yours!
